A spiral vase for dried flowers or even a fine pencil jar. If you want to keep flowers that need water in the vase, provide a separate waterproof container inside the vase. The vase is printed as a single strip and therefore full waterproofing cannot be guaranteed.
The spiral shape is reminiscent of ocean waves. Seen from above, the edge resembles a fractal. The translucent material is very shiny on the outside. If you put a light source inside, such as a radiator-operated candle, the light is beautifully diffused by the walls. Only purple and fuchsia give a translucent finish, fuchsia is slightly less translucent. Other materials may let a little light through.
The bottom of the vase is 5 centimetres in diameter, the top edge is about 4 centimetres narrower and the height of the vase is 10 centimetres.
Inside the vase you can use a light source such as a battery-powered candle.
Please don't use a real candle, the vases are plastic and cannot withstand the heat of the flame!
Materials:
- PLA is made from plant-based biodegradable materials (mainly maize). It cannot withstand hot temperatures, but starts to soften at around 60 degrees Celsius. PETG is a more heat-resistant plastic blend.
- Translucent PLA and PETG are, as their name suggests, translucent. The surface shines beautifully and lets light through.
- Glitter PLA sparkles beautifully. Darker shades may have a slightly different colour when lit from the inside.
- The metallic PLA changes colour when the product is turned. It is ideal for uneven surfaces, where the tinting will show up best.
Treatment:
- Each product is printed for you on order. Minor errors may occur because the product was printed on a home printer, not an industrial printer.
- Treat the product as a handmade product. This product is not moulded, but printed layer by layer.
- The product may be damaged if dropped on the floor.
- If you fill the product with water, or decorative sand, always lift the product from the bottom while supporting it!
- Inside the vase you can use a light source such as a battery-powered candle.
- Please don't use a real candle, the vases are plastic and cannot withstand the heat of the flame!
