Why the letter has not arrived?
- The postal service has moved to daily and weekly delivery in Finland. Mail is delivered on only five days in a fortnight. I have received a reply from the Post Office that a first class letter may take 2 calendar weeks to arrive at its destination. You may want to consider upgrading your delivery method to Small parcel (formerly xxs parcel).
- Other European countries: shipping times vary between countries. It can take 2-4 weeks for an letter mail to arrive to destination country.
The product says “delivery in 2-3 days”, what does this mean?
- All products are made to order. Larger items, like yarn bowls or dice towers take 8-14 hours to print. You get always a brand new product, when you make an order to the shop.
What does “plant-based, biodegradable plastic” mean?
- PLA, or polylactide, contains plastic and plant matter such as sugar cane or corn starch. Printed products cannot be put in their own compost, they require thermal composting. More information on PLA plastic on the Savonia website. Article about PLA plastic in English.
I would like a craft cutter of a certain shape, is it possible?
- Send me a message and let me know what kind of craft cutter you would like. If possible, please include photo ideas or a link to what style of cutter you would like. I don’t make cutters or products that are copyrighted or trademarked.
How expensive is a custom design?
- Whether it’s a craft cutter, medal or other product, design work is priced by the hour. Medals take 1-3 hours to design, while polymer clay cutters usually take 0.5-1 hour. If your product idea is one that I can put in the shop for sale to others, I will not charge you for the design. If, on the other hand, you only want the product for yourself, the design costs will be added to the total. The hourly rate is 30e / h.
I need a new spinning wheel bobbin for a traditional spinning wheel.
- I need some measurements so I can design a bobbin for your spinning wheel. Drawing a bobbin is usually 1-2 hour work. One bobbin to traditional spinning wheel costs 7-9 € plus the drawing costs. I save the design for you, and you can order more rolls for your own spinning wheel later, you just pay the printing costs.
