There will always be two shoe prints, left and right. The set includes a separate stamp and cutter, you can also use these separately. Sizes 1, 3 and 6 are used in the pictures.

You can first press the base pattern into the clay and cut out the shoe print with a cutter, or cut out the shoe print first and stamp it afterwards. The smaller cutters do not have the slit marks on the bottom, only the two larger sizes have them.
The stamps are very detailed, so it's best to press the stamp into cool paste so it doesn't stick to the stamp. Or you can use corn flour or potato flour to help, under the stamp.
The cutter needs a little more pressure than a metal cutter. The cutting edges will be sharp and precise. You can also use cling film or a piece of plastic bag in between the cutter and the polymer clay, if you want rounder edges.
For a short article on using a PLA polymer clay cutter, see the blog:

The polymer clay cutters are printed in Finland, from plant-based, biodegradable plastic. The cutter must not be heated or put in the oven. The cutter starts to soften at around 60 degrees Celsius.
Clean the cutter after use, wipe off any visible clay.
