Pineapple clay cutter

Pineapple! A whole pineapple, skin and all.

A separate leaf section, you can connect these with a ring to each other. Press gently into the clay, the lattice surface will quickly adhere to the clay and the soft clay may stick to the lattice.

With smaller cutters, the lattice pattern becomes rounder. The picture of the three pineapples shows sizes 1, 2 and 4.

 

Total height, including pineapple and foliage:

1: 3,5 cm

2: 4cm

3: 4,5 cm

4: 5cm

 

The cutter has a patterned surface that works best with a 3 mm thick ground sheet. In this case, the pattern is pressed into the clay by about a millimetre.

The cutter needs a little more pressure than a metal cutter. The cutting edges will be sharp and precise. You can also use cling film or a piece of plastic bag in between the cutter and the polymer clay, if you want rounder edges.

The polymer clay cutters are printed in Finland, from plant-based, biodegradable plastic. The cutter must not be heated or put in the oven. The cutter starts to soften at around 60 degrees Celsius.

Clean the cutter after use, wipe off any visible clay.
