A 3D printed bias tape maker.
With this product you can easily iron a bias fabric strip. It's not always easy to find the right colour of bias tape in the shops, but now you can make your own!
Four different widths, the width is the width of the strip of fabric, not the width of the finished bias binding.
Remember to cut the fabric in the bias direction, so that the fabric will stretch slightly and iron more easily.
The fabric strip is folded in four when finished, so for example a 3 cm strip of fabric will make an approximately 7 mm wide strip of fabric.

Bias tape maker widths:
1: 3 cm (finished bias approx. 7 mm)
2: 3.5 cm (finished bias approx. 9 mm)
3: 4 cm (finished bias approx. 1 cm)
4: 5 cm (finished bias approx. 1.25 cm)
You can buy a single translator or a complete set, in the colour of your choice.
The bias tape maker is made of PETG, which is more resistant to heat. However, do not iron near the product as it may soften. PETG is more resistant to iron steam than PLA.
You should iron the canvas by pressing directly from the top towards the ironing board, not by swinging the iron back and forth. Always iron the whole strip once first, and then do another stroke. You can also sew the ribbon onto the work without ironing the centre piece.
