The cog for card making

Four cogs that can be used for card making, in bujoor even as decorations on steampunk-themed accessories.
From the centre to the outer edge, two, three or four supports. A cog diameter 5 cm and thickness 2 mm, total thickness 3.5 mm.

The material is PLA plastic, which can be painted with ordinary acrylic paints, or spray paint. You should apply several thin coats of acrylic paint, allowing the coats to dry, so that you get an opaque finish. If the paint doesn't stick, you should wash the wheel, for example with dishwashing liquid, to remove any grease that may have stuck to the surface from your fingers.
You can gently sand the painted surface with sandpaper to bring out the lower layers, or even right up to the print surface to bring out the grayish tint.


Cogs are printed in Finland, from plant-based, biodegradable plastic. The product is durable for decorative use, it is not a real durable cog.
